GRAPE VARIETY: Tempranillo

VINEYARD AGE: Over 20 years

VINIFICATION: Hand-harvested in 15 kg crates, with careful bunch selection at the winery. Traditional vinification using destemmed, uncrushed grapes. A cold pre-fermentation maceration is followed by alcoholic fermentation at 20°C with native yeasts. Malolactic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at 20–22°C.

ALCOHOL CONTENT: 14.5% vol.

AGING: Aged for 6 months in French oak barrels.

COLOR: Bright cherry red, deep and intense, with violet hues on the rim.

NOSE: Aromas of ripe fruit, wild herbs, blackberries and blueberries, with subtle toasted notes.

PALATE: Well-balanced, with smooth, fruity tannins. Easy and pleasant to drink.

PRODUCTION: 20,000 bottles

FOOD PAIRING: Red meats, roasted dishes, stews and traditional casseroles, all types of game, aged cheeses and foie gras.

SERVING TEMPERATURE: Serve between 14°C and 16°C.
